A dear friend turned 60 years old a few days ago and invited several very lucky people to join her for a few days of vacation to celebrate her experience of being alive. I say lucky people because everyone who knows this woman is fortunate and those she includes as her closest friends are blessed indeed. The best way to describe this woman is glowing and joyful. Throughout all the ups and downs and twists and turns of her life, she has been open to growth and increased understanding and has been committed to creating her own happiness. And all that hard work and love shows in the way people respond to her. I was so honored to be among those who were there.
We were in the Colorado Rockies near the end of summer, the weather was gorgeous and we took full advantage of hiking, bicycling, kayaking, watching the stars, eating, drinking, making new friends and making new memories with old friends. We might have been celebrating one friend's journey but we all felt deeply enhanced by those special days.
As you would expect, a great person surrounds herself with great people and the women who joined her were wise and kind and lots of fun. I offered free readings with The Choir and six of the women wanted to hear what The Choir might say to them. I was awed by the deep wisdom and incredible gifts that showed up in this group. Some of us were searching or questioning or grappling with big life issues and others were as content as could be. Regardless of their situation, the readings revealed talents and perspective these women didn't even know they had. It was a deeply moving experience for me to help them communicate with The Choir and I hope it was beneficial to them as well.
Thank you for finding The Choir! I hope you will come back again !
